Manoj Kumar Agrawal set to be next Director (Technical) of BCCL

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Manoj Kumar Agrawal for the post of Director (Technical) of BCCL on Tuesday

New Delhi: Manoj Kumar Agrawal is set to be the next Director (Technical) of Bharat Cocking Coal Limited (BCCL). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Dhori Area) at Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL).

Agrawal has been recommended for the post of Director (Technical) of BCCL from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on August 6. Out of 11 candidates, two candidates were from NCL, two from Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL) and one each from South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), Ministry of Coal, Hindustan Copper Limited, SAIL, Jindal Steel & Power Limited and GHCL Limited.

As Director (Technical) of BCCL, Agrawal will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for the operation of mines and also of field activities, technical functions and safety of mines.
