Mohan Raj Shetty set to be next CMD of BVFCL

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Mohan Raj Shetty for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of BVFCL

New Delhi: Mohan Raj Shetty is set to be the next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Town Administrator) at Steel Authority Of India Limited (SAIL).

Shetty has been recommended for the post of CMD of BVFCL from a list of four candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on August 13. Out of four candidates, three candidates were from SAIL and one from RINL.

As CMD of BVFCL, Shetty will be the Chief Executive of the company. He will be accountable to its Board of Directors and Government/Shareholders. He will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the company and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
