New Delhi: State-owned MTNL said in a regulatory filing on Monday that it has appointed Ratan Mani Sumit DM (CS) (Membership No A15193) as Company Secretary, Compliance Officer and KMP of the Company with effect from March 1. The filing also said that he is not related to any directors of the company.
Ratan Mani Sumit is a result oriented corporate professional having more than 21 years post qualification experience. He is an Associate Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI Membership No 415193) and is a Science Graduate. He has joined MTNL in October 2003 as Assistant Manager in company secretarial section. He has very good exposure and experience in managing company secretarial functions and corporate compliance matters which includes corporate laws and SEBI (Rules and Regulations). He ensures that the company complies and operates in accordance with statutory and legal provisions and adheres with the best corporate governance practices all the time.
