Mukesh Choudhary assumes additional charge as Director (HR) of Coal India

Mukesh Choudhary has assumed the additional charge of Director (Human Resources) of Coal India Limited on Tuesday

New Delhi: Mukesh Choudhary has assumed the additional charge of Director (Human Resources) of Coal India Limited on Tuesday. He has been entrusted the additional charge of the post of Director (Human Resource) for an initial period of three months with effect from July 28. Presently, he is serving as Director (Marketing) in the organisation.

According to an order issued by the Ministry of Coal on July 24, he has been entrusted with the additional charge for a period until a regular incumbent assumes charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier. He has been serving as Director (Marketing) of Coal India since December 23, 2022.

Mukesh Choudhary is a Mechanical Engineering (Honours) graduate from Engineering College, Kota, and also holds a Master of Financial Analysis (MFA) degree and an MBA. During his career, he has served on the boards of several government-owned coal companies, including Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL), South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), Central Mine Planning and Design Institute Limited (CMPDIL), NTPL and SCCL.

He currently serves as a director on the boards of Mahanadi Coalfields Limited, Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL) and CIL Navikarniya Urja Limited.
