Mundkur S Kamath gets additional charge as Director (Finance) of MRPL

MRPL's Managing Director (MD) Mundkur S Kamath has been assigned with the additional charge of Director (Finance) post

New Delhi: Mundkur S Kamath, who is presently serving as Managing Director (MD) of MRPL, has been assigned with the additional charge of Director (Finance). He has been assigned with the additional charge of the post for a period of three months with effect from July 2, or till the appointment of regular incumbent to the post, or until further orders, whichever is the earlier. This information has been shared by the petroleum PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Friday.

Kamath has been serving as Managing Director of MRPL since February 28.

Kamath is an alumnus of Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) and TA Pai Management Institute (TAPMI), Manipal. After joining MRPL in July 1992, he has held various positions in the organisation apart from his stint on deputation at ONGC Mangalore Petrochemicals Ltd (OMPL). Prior to his appointment as Executive Director (Refinery) of MRPL on June 1, 2022, he was serving as Group General Manager (Technical Services) at MRPL.
