NC Karmali (IRSE) gets additional charge as Director (Works) of IRCON

IRCON has announced the appointment of NC Karmali (IRSE) as Director (Works) on an additional charge basis

New Delhi: IRCON International Limited, a Navratna PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has announced the appointment of NC Karmali (IRSE) as Director (Works) on an additional charge basis. The development follows the superannuation of Parag Verma, the former Director (Works), on April 30.

The Ministry of Railways, through its official order dated May 7, 2025, has entrusted the additional responsibility to Karmali, who currently serves as Principal Executive Director (General Standards), Railway Board. The appointment is effective from the date he assumes charge and will remain in force until further orders.

Karmali, a 1992 batch Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer, brings a wealth of experience in infrastructure development and standards within the Indian Railways. His date of birth is October 27, 1967.
