New Delhi: Uttam Lal is set to be next Director (Personnel) of NHPC Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Power. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on February 28. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager in NTPC Limited.

Uttam has been recommended for the post of Director (Personnel) of NHPC Limited form a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on February 28. Out of 11 candidates, six candidates were from NHPC Limited, two candidates from NTPC Limited and one each from Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Indian Telecommunication Service (ITS) and Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited.
