ONGC Director HR Manish Patil gets additional charge of Director Finance

ONGC Director HR Manish Patil has been entrusted with the additional responsibility of the Director Finance, as Vivek Tongaonkar superannuated last week

New Delhi: ONGC Director HR Manish Patil has been given additional responsibility of the Director Finance as Vivek Tongaonkar superannuated from the company after 39-years of distinguished career in finance division. The company informed the bourses in a regulatory filing.

The statement filed on Thursday, April 30, mentioned "the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Govt. of India vide letter no. CA-31011/3/2026-CA-PNG (55497) dated 30.04.2026 has entrusted the additional charge of the post of Director (Finance) to Shri Manish Patil, Director (Human Resource) (DIN: 10139350)".

Manish Patil has been given the additional charge for a period of three months with effect from Friday, May 01, 2026, or till the new Director Finance joins.

Patil is Mechanical Engineer from the Government Engineering College, Raipur, Patil also holds an Executive MBA degree from the University of Ljubljana, an Advanced Diploma in Cyber Laws from Government Law College, apart from a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management (HRM).

Patil has worked across locations and functions with ONGC and Indian Oil Corporation Limited. He was elevated to the position of Director HR on May 05, 2023.
