New Delhi: The public sector head hunter body has shortlisted 12 candidates for the position of Indian Oil’s Director (Planning and Business Development), a shortlist accessed by PSU Watch shows. Interviews for the same are slated to take place on August 20. “The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) will consider selection for the post of Director (Planning and Business Development), Indian Oil Corporation Limited (Schedule A) at 9.00 am to 11.00 am on 20.08.2024. The selection meeting will be held through video conferencing (VC),” read an order issued by the PESB.
The shortlist features six candidates from within Indian Oil. These names include, Arvindar Singh Sahney, ED (BD-Petrochemicals), Jitendra Kumar, ED and state head for Punjab, Subrat Kar, ED (Planning and Economic Studies), Umish Srivastva, ED (Alternative Energy and New Energy Campus), Suman Kumar, ED (E&P), and Saumitra Priya Srivastava, ED (Retail Sales-N&E).
The other six candidates who have been shortlisted for the interviews include, Dharmendra Kumar Sharma, ED (Corporate Strategy and Planning and Business Development) at HPCL, Debashis, ED and deputy CEO at Hindustan Colas (HPCL), Aloke Kumar Naskar, ED (Petrochemical) at GAIL, Atul Kumar Tripathi, ED (Projects) at GAIL, Kamal Kishore Chatiwal, ED and MD at Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), and Lalitesh Kumar, Technical Member Head at ONGC Petroadditions Ltd (OPaL).
Currently, Sujoy Choudhury holds the post of Director (Planning & BD) at Indian Oil. He was appointed to the post in February 2022. He is set to superannuate this month.
