PESB names Manoharan Potheri for FACT's Director (Finance) post

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Manoharan Potheri for the post of Director (Finance) of FACT Limited

New Delhi: Manoharan Potheri is set be the next Director (Finance) of The Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a PSU under the Department of Fertilizers. He has been recommended for post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Saturday. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager (Finance), Northern Region and Delhi State Office, at Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL).

Potheri has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of FACT Limited from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on July 25. The other candidates, who were on the list were from various PSUs including HOCL, Grid-India, NTPC Limited, NHPC Limited, BHEL, SAIL and RINL-VSP.

As Director (Finance) of FACT Limited, Potheri will be a member of Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of finance and accounts functions of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating finance policies.
