PESB names Satish Jha and Achyut Ghatak as Director (Technical) of CMPDI

The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel has recommended the name of Achyut Ghatak and Satish Jha for the Director (Technical) positions of CMPDI

New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel held two interviews on Thursday for the selection of Directors (Technical) of Central Mine Planning & Design Institute Limited (CMPDI). As the outcomes of the interviews the PESB selection panel has recommended the name of Achyut Ghatak and Satish Jha for the Director (Technical) positions.

In the first interview held at 10.00 AM, the panel has recommended the name of Satish Jha, who is currently serving as General Manager in NCL. Jha has been selected for the post from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel. Out of seven candidates two candidates were from SECL, two from Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) and one each from NTPC Limited and GHCL Limited.

Another round of the interview which was held at 2.00 PM, the PESB panel has recommended the name of Achyut Ghatak. Ghatak has also been recommended from a list of seven candidates. Presently, he is serving as General Manager of Coal India Limited (CIL). Out of seven candidates two candidates were from NTPC Limited, two candidates from NCL and one each from Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), SECL and Coal India Limited.

CMPDIL is a Miniratna PSU having its corporate headquarters at Ranchi. It is a fully owned subsidiary of Coal India Limited.
