PESB names Vishwanath Suresh for MOIL's CMD post

Vishwanath Suresh has been recommended for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of MOIL Limited

New Delhi: Vishwanath Suresh is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of MOIL Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Mines. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on October 4. Presently, he is serving as Director (Commercial) at NMDC Limited.

Suresh has been selected for the post of CMD of MOIL Limited from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 4. Out of five candidates, two candidates were from NMDC Limited and one each from MOIL Limited, Hindustan Copper Limited and Cement Corporation of India Limited.

As CMD of MOIL, Suresh will the Chief Executive of the company and accountable to its Board of Directors and Government. He will be responsible for enhancement of production and efficient functioning of the Company for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
