New Delhi: Ananta Mohan Singh is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd., a PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday. Singh is an Indian Railways Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of Indian Railways.

Singh has been recommended for the post of CMD of Andrew Yule & Co. Ltd. from a list of three candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on July 20. Other candidates who were on the list were one each from HLL Lifecare Ltd and MECON Limited.

As CMD of Andrew Yule Co. Ltd., Singh will be the Chief Executive of the corporation and will be accountable to its board of directors and the government. He will also be responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation, and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
