PESB picks Harsh Baweja for REC's Director (Finance) post

Harsh Baweja has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of REC Limited on Saturday

New Delhi: Harsh Baweja is set to be next Director (Finance) of REC Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Finance. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Saturday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Finance) in the same organisation.

Baweja has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of REC Limited from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on February 17. Out of 11 candidates, five candidates were from REC Limited, three candidates were each from PFC Limited and Indian Oil.

As Director (Finance) of REC Limited, Baweja will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in charge of the finance and accounts of the organisation and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
