New Delhi: Daya Nand Katyayan is set to be the next Director (Projects) of Telecommunications Consultants (India) Limited (TCIL), a PSU under the Department of Telecommunications (DoT). He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as Senior General Manager (Business Area Head, Faridabad) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL).

Katyayan has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of TCIL from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on July 22.

The other candidates interviewed for the post were Anish Agrawal, Chief General Manager & CEO-KSA of TCIL; Ramashray Prasad, Principal General Manager (Consumer Mobility) of BSNL; Digamber Kumar, Senior General Manager and Tumkur BA Head of BSNL; and Namita, General Manager and Plant Head of ITI Limited, Bengaluru.

As Director (Projects) of TCIL, Katyayan will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be responsible for resource and material management for various ongoing projects including civil and infrastructure. He will also be responsible for providing professional manpower and materials to Projects in a time bound manner.
