PESB recommends Dr Anil Ranga for Troop Comforts Ltd's CMD post

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Dr Anil Ranga for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Troop Comforts Limited on Friday

New Delhi: Dr Anil Ranga is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Troop Comforts Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Defence. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Friday. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager at Ordnance Equipment Factory (OEF), Kanpur, a unit of Troop Comforts Limited.

Dr Ranga has been recommended for the post of CMD of Troop Comforts Limited by the PESB panel following a selection meeting held on Friday. Dr. Ranga emerged as the selected candidate after a competitive selection process involving ten senior executives from the public sector, defence manufacturing organisations, and government enterprises.

The candidates interviewed for the position represented a diverse range of organisations, including Armoured Vehicles Nigam Limited, Gliders India Limited, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, and Troop Comforts Limited itself.

Among the contenders were senior executives holding positions such as Chief General Manager, Executive Director, General Manager, Director (Finance), and Managing Director across various public sector organisations.

Troop Comforts Ltd which operates under the Ministry of Defence and is engaged in the manufacture and supply of clothing, equipment, and protection solutions for the armed forces and security agencies.
