PESB recommends Nitin Khamesra for SCI’s Director (Finance) post

Nitin Khamesra is set to be next Director (Finance) of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI) on Thursday

New Delhi: Nitin Khamesra is set to be next Director (Finance) of Shipping Corporation of India (SCI), a PSU under the Ministry of Port, Shipping and Waterways. He has been recommended by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on October 22. Presently, he is serving as Chief General Manager Chief General Manager (Shipping) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited.

Khamesra has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of SCI from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 22. Among those interviewed were senior finance executives from several leading PSUs, including Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited (BPCL), Engineers India Limited (EIL), NTPC Limited, Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), Central Warehousing Corporation (CWC), and Kamarajar Port Limited, apart from internal candidates from SCI.

Khamesra has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of SCI from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on October 22. However, final appointment of Khamesra is subject to approval by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC).
