New Delhi: Sunil Kumar Nagdawne is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Pawan Hans Limited, a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Civil Aviation. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Aviation) at Indian Oil Corporation Limited.
Nagdawne has been recommended for Pawan Hans Limited’s CMD post from a list of six candidates who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its 12th selection meeting of 2026 held on February 16. The selection process involved interviews of senior executives from various public sector undertakings and organisations.
The candidates interviewed for the position included officials from Airports Authority of India, NTPC Limited, and Steel Authority of India Limited, among others. The recommendation is subject to further approvals as per the government’s appointment process for senior management positions in central public sector enterprises.
