PESB recommends T Vannia Perumal for BVFCL's Director (Production) post

T Vannia Perumal has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of BVFCL on Thursday

New Delhi: T Vannia Perumal is set to be next Director (Production) of Brahmaputra Valley Fertilizer Corporation Limited (BVFCL), a PSU under the Department of Fertilizers. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Deputy General Manager (Training) at Madras Fertilizers Limited (MFL).

Perumal has been recommended for the post of Director (Production) of BVFCL during PESB’s selection meeting no. 45/2026 held on June 11. He was shortlisted and interviewed for the position along with R Venkatesh, who is serving as General Manager (Coke Oven Revival Group) at Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL).

The recommendation will now be forwarded to the competent authority for further consideration and approval in accordance with the prescribed appointment process for CPSE board-level positions.

BVFCL, headquartered in Assam, is engaged in the production of fertilizers and plays an important role in supporting agricultural productivity in the northeastern region of the country. The appointment of a new Director (Production) is expected to strengthen the company's operational leadership and production management capabilities.
