PESB recommends V Packirisamy for PFC's Director (Commercial) post

The PESB panel has recommended the name of V Packirisamy for the post of Director (Commercial) of PFC Limited

New Delhi: V Packirisamy is set to be next Director (Commercial) of Power Finance Corporation (PFC) Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Power. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on February 9. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Entity Appraisal and IT) in the same organisation.

The recommendation was made during PESB Meeting No. 9/2026 held on February 9. A total of 10 candidates were interviewed by the PESB for the position. These included senior executives from Power Finance Corporation, REC Power Development & Consultancy Limited, Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited, IRCON International Limited and Indian Oil Corporation Limited .

The PESB recommendation will now be forwarded to the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) for final approval. Upon clearance, Packirisamy will assume charge as Director (Commercial) at PFC.
