New Delhi: State-owned power sector lender Power Finance Corporation Limited (PFC) has announced the appointment of Pankaj Gupta as a Part-Time Non-Official Director on its Board.

According to a regulatory filing, Gupta has been appointed for a period of three months from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, whichever is earlier, with effect from June 22.
A Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Gupta is a Chartered Accountant with more than 25 years of professional experience spanning taxation, audit and assurance, corporate law, and financial advisory services.
He currently serves as Managing Partner of Pankaj Manvi & Associates, where he advises domestic and international clients on matters related to direct and indirect taxation, accounting, fund raising, corporate litigation, transfer pricing, GST, FEMA, and capital market regulations. Over the course of his career, he has also guided companies through IPOs, FPOs, private placements, private equity transactions, due diligence exercises, and regulatory compliance matters.

Beyond his professional practice, Gupta is recognized as a public policy commentator and has regularly appeared on national television channels to provide expert insights on taxation and budget-related issues. He has also contributed to professional journals and business forums and has delivered lectures at various industry seminars and conferences.
