Power Grid appoints Anjana Luthra as Company Secretary; names Venkata SV as CFO

Power Grid appointed Anjana Luthra as its Company Secretary & Compliance Officer and Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie as Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

New Delhi: The Board of Directors of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has approved key appointments in its senior management, naming Anjana Luthra as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer and Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie as Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

According to company's regulatory filing to the stock exchnages, Anjana Luthra has been appointed as Company Secretary and Compliance Officer with immediate effect. Previously, she was serving as General Manager (Company Secretariat).

A Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India, Anjana Luthra has more than 25 years of experience across corporate governance, legal, compliance, finance and investor relations functions.

Meanwhile, Venkata Subrahamanayam Vallurie has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with effect from July 1. At present, he serves as Chief General Manager (Finance & Accounts) in the organisation.

A qualified Cost Accountant, Vallurie brings over 35 years of professional experience, including more than three decades with Power Grid, spanning financial accounting, resource mobilisation, ERP implementation, internal audit and finance operations.

The appointments were approved by the company's board during its meeting held on Wednesday as part of a broader set of strategic decisions.
