Power Grid CMD Vamsi Rama Mohan gets additional charge of Director (Projects)

Power Grid CMD Vamsi Rama Mohan has been given additional charge as Director (Projects) of the company

New Delhi: Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) has announced that its Chairman and Managing Director, Burra Vamsi Rama Mohan, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Projects) for a temporary period.

According to a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges, Mohan will hold the additional responsibility for a period of three months with effect from April 1, 2026, or until a regular incumbent assumes charge, or until further orders—whichever is earlier.

The appointment has been made in accordance with an order issued by the Ministry of Power dated April 6, 2026.
