Prasanta Kumar Das set to be next CMD of FAGMIL

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Prasanta Kumar Das for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India Limited (FAGMIL)

New Delhi: Prasanta Kumar Das is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of FCI Aravali Gypsum and Minerals India Limited (FAGMIL), a PSU under the Ministry of Chemicals & Fertilizers. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) Panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager (Marketing) at IREL (India) Limited.

Das has been recommended for the post of CMD of FAGMIL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB Selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 10. Out of 10 candidates, two candidates were from NALCO and one each from FAGMIL, Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL), IREL (India) Limited, MRPL, NLC (India) Limited, BHEL, BPCL and Indian Air Force.
