Priyadarshini Gaddam recommended for NMDC's Director (Personnel) post

The PESB Panel has recommended the name of Priyadarshini Gaddam for the position of Director (Personnel) of NMDC Limited on Saturday

New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended the name of Priyadarshini Gaddam for the position of Director (Personnel) of NMDC Limited, one of India’s largest iron ore producers and a Schedule A public sector company. She was recommended for the post after an intensive selection process held during PESB Meeting on October 19. Presently, she is serving as Chief General Manager in the same organisation.

Gaddam had emerged as the top candidate following interviews held on July 14, 2023. Other senior executives from NMDC and external candidates from prestigious organisations like Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) and the Indian Telecommunication Service were also interviewed. Notable candidates included B Sahoo and K Praveen Kumar, both Executive Directors at NMDC, and D. Deepak, Executive Director (HRD) at HAL.

The selection process also included a legal compliance step, with V Srinivas being invited for an interview in accordance with recent orders from the Hon’ble High Court of Telangana. However, he did not attend the interview scheduled for October 19, 2024.

The appointment will take effect after formal approval from the government.
