PTC India announces appointment of Ravisankar Ganesan on its Board

Power Grid's Director (Finance) Ravisankar Ganesan has been appointed as Nominee Director of Power Grid on the Board of PTC India with effect from June 5, 2023

New Delhi: PTC India Limited, a power trading solutions provider in India, on Monday announced the appointment of Ravisankar Ganesan as Nominee Director of Power Grid on its Board. According to its regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Monday, Ganesan has been appointed as Nominee Director of Power Grid on the Board of PTC India Limited with effect from June 5, 2023. Presently, Ganesan is serving as Director (Finance) of Power Grid.

Ganesan is a Mathematics Graduate from University of Madras and is a Cost Accountant from The Institute of Cost Accountants of India. He has also done Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management and Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management from Annamalai University. An accomplished technocrat, he has post-qualification experience of 32 years, serving predominantly in POWERGRID (after a brief stint in NLC India Limited) in construction office, sub-stations, regional headquarters and corporate centre located in various parts of India.

Ganesan has vast experience in key finance functions viz. resource mobilisation, budgeting, financial reporting, commercial, works accounting and retiral benefits fund management. He has been serving as Director (Finance) of Power Grid since September 2022.

Ganesan has no relationship with any of the Directors of PTC and is not debarred from holding the office of Director by virtue of any order of Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) or any other such authority, PTC clarified in its filing.
