Rahul Himalian set to be next Director (Tourism & Marketing) of IRCTC

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Rahul Himalian for the post of Director (Tourism & Marketing) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)

New Delhi: Rahul Himalian is set to be next Director (Tourism & Marketing) of Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), a PSU under the Ministry of Tourism. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as Group General Manager at Indian Railways Traffic Service (IRTS) of the Indian Railways.

Himalian has been recommended for the post by of Director (Tourism & Marketing) from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on November 1.

As Director (Tourism & Marketing) of IRCTC, Himalian is responsible for managing specific tasks assigned to him pertaining to the areas of travel & tourism, business development and marketing. He will also be responsible for development & performance of travel & tourism business of the company. He will developing sound corporate and marketing strategies consistent with company's objectives etc.
