Rajesh Naik set to be next Director (Projects) of IRCON

Rajesh Naik has been recommended for the post the post of Director (Projects) of Ircon International Limited on Thursday

New Delhi: Rajesh Naik is set to be next Director (Projects) of Ircon International Limited (IRCON), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Thursday.

Naik has been recommended for the post of Director (Projects) of IRCON from a list of 11 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its 105th meeting of the year held on October 30. Out of 11 candidates, five candidates were from IRCON itself, two candidates were from Indian Railways and one each from Central Public Works Department, Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL), RITES Limited and CONCOR.

As Director (Projects) of IRCON, Naik will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Managing Director. He will be in-charge of project planning, marketing operations and for securing new business in India and abroad. He also monitors ongoing international projects, promoting indigenisation under the Atma Nirbhar Scheme of the Government.
