Rajnesh Singh (IRSME) appointed as GAIL CVO

The ACC has approved the appointment of Rajnesh Singh (IRSME) as Chief Vigilance Officer of GAIL (India) Limited

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Rajnesh (IRSME) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of GAIL India Limited, a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoPNG).

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT) on February 1, Singh has been appointed to the post for a period upto March 31, 2028, with effect from the date of assumption of the charge of the post or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Singh is an Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineering (IRSME) service officer of 2003-batch. Presently, he is posted as Director in the Department of Heavy Industries under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. Prior to joining the Department of Heavy Industries, Singh was serving as Director, Mechanical Engineering (Computer & Information System) in Railway Board.
