Rakesh Kumar Sahay appointed as Director (Finance) of BCCL

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Rakesh Kumar Sahay as Director (Finance) of Bharat Coking Coal Limited (BCCL)

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Rakesh Kumar Sahay as Director (Finance) of Bhart Coking Coal Limited (BCCL), a PSU under the Ministry of Coal, on Thursday. Presently, he is serving as Chief Manager in the same organisation.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sahay has been appointed to the post for a period with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. August 31, 2025, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Earlier, PSU Watch had reported when Sahay was recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of BCCL by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel. He was selected for the post from a list of eight candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on December 7.
