Ranendra Sarma appointed as Director (Technical) of NEEPCO

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ranendra Sarma for the post of Director (Technical) of NEEPCO

New Delhi: The Central Government has approved the appointment of Ranendra Sarma for the post of Director (Technical) of North Eastern Electric Power Corporation (NEEPCO) Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Power, on Thursday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Sarma has been appointed to the post for a period of period of five years with effect from the date ot nis assumption of charge of the post, or till the date of his superannuation i.e. July 31, 2025, or until further orders' whichever is the earlier.

Sarma was recommended for the post of Director (Technical) of NEEPCO from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on November 1. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director in the same organisation.
