New Delhi: Ravi Kumar has been appointed as Director (Project Management) of Bridge & Roof Company {B&R (lndia) Limited}. The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Kumar on Wednesday.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been appointed to the post for a period of five years with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post, or until further orders, whichever is earlier. Presently, he is serving as General Manager in Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL).

Kumar was recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel in December 2022. He was among nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel for the role.
