Ravindra Kumar appointed as Director (Operations) of NTPC

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ravindra Kumar for NTPC Limited's Director (Operations) post

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the appointment of Ravindra Kumar for the post of Director (Operations) of NTPC Limited on February 24.

According to an order issued from the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), Kumar has been appointed to the post with effect from the date of his assumption of charge of the post till the date of his superannuation i.e. October 31, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.'

Presently, he is serving as Chief Executive Officer of NTPC’s Patratu Thermal Power Station, Jharkhand.

Kumar was recommended for the post of Director (Operations) by the PESB selection on October 30, 2023. He was selected for the post from a list of 11 candidates.
