RITES's Manobendra Ghoshal set to be next CMD of MSTC Limited

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Manobendra Ghoshal for the post of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of MSTC Limited on Monday

New Delhi: Manobendra Ghoshal is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of MSTC Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Monday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director, Chief Strategy Officer in RITES Limited.

Ghoshal has been recommended for the post of CMD of MSTC Limited from a list of nine candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 25, 2023. Out of nine candidates, four candidates were from MSTC Limited, two from BSNL Limited and one each from RITES Limited, Indian Telecommunication Service and Inland World Logistics Pvt Ltd.

As CMD of MSTC, Ghoshal will be Chief Executive of the corporation and will be accountable to the board of directors and the Government. He will be responsible for the efficient functioning of the corporation and for achieving its corporate objectives and performance parameters.
