New Delhi: Romon Sebastian Louis is set to be next Director (Services Business) of Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd., a PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Executive Director (Logistics Infrastructure & Cold Chain) in the same organisation.
Louis has been recommended for the post of Director (Service Business) of Balmer Lawrie from a list of five candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB panel in its selection meeting held on May 6. Out of five candidates, three candidates were from Balmer Lawrie and one each from MSTC Limited and Central Warehousing Corporation.
As Director (Services Business) at Balmer Lawrie, Louis will be a member of the Board of Directors and will report to the Chairman and Managing Director. His prime responsibility will be to provide direction and guidance to the company's services-related businesses, including corporate travel management, logistics services, and cold chain operations. He will also be involved in formulating and implementing business strategies, identifying appropriate technologies, and overseeing environment scanning initiatives.
