RVNL appoints Baldev Singh as Executive Director (Civil) on its board

Singh is a IRSE officer of the 1996 batch and brings over 27 years of experience in Indian Railways

New Delhi: Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL), a PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has appointed Baldev Singh as Executive Director (Civil), the company said in a regulatory filing on Thursday.

According to the disclosure made to the stock exchanges, Singh will also be part of the Senior Management Personnel of the company with effect from March 12, till the date of his superannuation.

Singh is an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer of the 1996 batch and brings over 27 years of experience in Indian Railways. A civil engineer by training, he has extensive expertise in track and bridge maintenance, tunnel and building construction, contract management, and mechanised track maintenance.

Prior to joining RVNL, Singh served as Chief Vigilance Officer/Engineering in N.F. Railway. During his career in the railways, he has also held key positions such as Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM) and Senior Divisional Engineer, gaining wide experience in project execution, EPC and PPP projects, and railway operations.
