Saleem Ahmad assumes charge as Director (Projects) at NBCC

Saleem Ahmad has assumed the charge of Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited for five years with effect from April 19

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC Limited said in a regulatory filing on Thursday that Saleem Ahmad (DIN: 10119432) has assumed the charge of Director (Projects) at NBCC (India) Limited for five years with effect from April 19.

Further, it noted, "Pursuant to SEBI direction regarding enforcement of SEBI Orders regarding appointment of Directors by the listed Companies and based on affirmation given by the Director, the Company hereby affirms that Saleem Ahmad is not debarred from holding the office of director by virtue of any SEBI order or any other such authority."

Saleem Ahmad is a Civil Engineering 1990 Batch pass out from the Jamia Millia Islamia University with over 33 years of experience in the Construction industry. Among his multifaceted responsibilities during his 23 years stint with Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, he has worked as Executive Director (civil). Prior to this, he had worked for 8 years with the Mumbai Port Trust. Ahmad has a vast and varied experience in the execution of multidimensional, large infrastructure projects of bridges, tunnels, as well as residential and commercial buildings.
