New Delhi: The Government has appointed Sat Pal Bhanoo as one of the Managing Directors of Life Insurance Corporation (LIC). As per LIC's official website, there are three Managing Directors on the board of the company.

According to the company Bhanoo has been appointed as MD of LIC with effect from the date of taking over charge of the post till the date of his superannuation on December 31, 2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. This information has been shared by LIC in a regulotery finling to the stock exchanges on July 19.

Bhanoo has been appointed in place of Siddhartha Mohanty who has been appointed as Chairman of LIC in April. Presently, Bhanoo is serving as Additional Zonal Manager (In-Charge) of LIC of India (Zonal Office), Bhopal.
