Shruti Agnihotriy (IRAS) given additional charge as IOCL CVO

New Delhi: The Government has approved the entrustment of additional charge of the post of Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Indian Oil Corporation Ltd. (IOCL) to Shruti Agnihotriy (IRAS).

Agnihotriy is an Indian Railways Accounts Services (IRAS) Officer of 1998 batch and has a vast experience of 26 years.

Agnihotriy, who is currently serving as CVO, Engineers India Ltd. (EIL), will hold the additional charge for a period of six months with effect from December 24, 2025, or until the appointment of a regular CVO in IOCL or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

Agnihotriy has been serving as since July 2023. She has worked in various leadership roles, primarily in Finance Department in South Eastern Railways, North East Frontier Railways and Northern Railways. In the beginning of her career, she unearthed a big scam of fake Revenue Stamps being used in Cash Office of Nagpur Division of India Railways.

She headed Finance and Accounts Department of Tinsukia Division in North Frontier Railways where due to her active involvement in proper examination of files and projects, savings worth crores to the exchequer were achieved. This Division under her leadership won the Shield for Best Finance Department in the entire North Frontier Railways.
