New Delhi: Shubh Karan Singh, Special Secretary (Power) of the Government of Himachal Pradesh, has been appointed as Part-time Official Director on the board of SJVN Limited with immediate effect. This announcement has been made by the power PSU in a regulatory filing to the stock exchanges on Thursday.
Singh, is a 2015 batch, Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Officer. He is presently serving as Special Secretary (MPP & Power) and Non-Conventional Energy Sources in the Government of Himachal Pradesh. Prior to this assignment, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of HIMURJA. During a career spanning more than 26 years, he has held several important administrative positions in the Himachal Pradesh Government.
