Surendra Singh Kshatriya set to be next Director (Finance) of MECL

The PESB panel has recommended the name of Surendra Singh Kshatriya for the post of Director (Finance) of MECL on February 13

New Delhi: Surendra Singh Kshatriya is set to be next Director (Finance) of Mineral Exploration and Consultancy Limited (MECL), a Miniratna PSU under the Ministry of Steel. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) panel on Tuesday. Presently, he is serving as Group General Manager (Finance) of RITES Limited.

Kshatriya has been recommended for the post of Director (Finance) of MECL from a list of 10 candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection in its selection meeting held on February 13. Out of 10 candidates, three candidates were from RINL-VSP, two candidates from SAIL and one each from MECON, BVFCL, RITES, NMDC and Kirloskar Brothers Limited.

As Director (Finance) of MECL Kshatriya will be a member of Board of Directors and will report to Chairman and Managing Director (CMD). He will be overall in-charge of finance and accounts functions of the organisation, and will be responsible for evolving and formulating policies related to finance and accounts as well as implementation.
