Tenure of Brajesh Kumar Tripathy extended as Coal India CVO

The Govt has approved the extension of tenure of Brajesh Kumar Tripathy (IRSE) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited (CIL)

New Delhi: The Government has approved the extension of tenure of Shri Brajesh Kumar Tripathy, an Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) officer of the 1998 batch, as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Coal India Limited (CIL), Kolkata.

According to an Office Memorandum issued by the Ministry of Coal (No. A-19/06/2023-Establishment) dated October 27, 2025, the Competent Authority has accorded approval for extending Tripathy’s tenure for a further period of two years beyond November 15, 2025, i.e., up to November 15, 2027, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
