Uday Sankar Majumder appointed as Chief Risk Officer of Canara Bank

Uday Sankar Majumder, Chief General Manager has been designated as the Group Chief Risk Officer of the Canara Bank with immediate effect

New Delhi: State-owned Canara Bank said in a regulatory filing on Monday that "Uday Sankar Majumder, Chief General Manager has been designated as the Group Chief Risk Officer of the Bank with immediate effect." Majumder will replace "the present incumbent Jagdish Chander, General Manager, who has been entrusted with a new role in the bank," it added.

Further, the filing also said, "This change in the incumbency of the Group Chief Risk Officer is reported to the Stock Exchanges in terms of RBI Circular dated April 27, 2017."
