New Delhi: Varun Kumar Shukla is set to be next Chairman & Managing Director (CMD) of Hindustan Salts Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Heavy Industries. He has been recommended for the post by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) on Wednesday. Presently, he is serving as General Manager at Richardson & Cruddas Limited.
Shukla has been recommended for the post of CMD of Hindustan Salts Limited from a list of seven candidates, who were interviewed by the PESB selection panel in its selection meeting held on September 17. Out of seven candidates, two candidates were from RINL and one each from Hindustan Salts Limited, ONGC Limited, Ratnagiri Gas & Power Pvt. Limited, DRDO and Richardson & Cruddas Limited.
