Vikas Singh (IRS) appointed as Govt Nominee Director on OIL Board

The Central Government has appointed Indian Ravenue Service (IRS) officer Vikas Singh as Government Nominee Director on the board of Oil India Limited (OIL)

New Delhi: Indian Revenue Service (IRS) officer Vikas Singh has been appointed as Government Nominee Director on the board Oil India Limited (OIL), a Maharatna PSU under the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural (MoPNG). He is a 2007 batch IRS officer and presently posted as Director in MoPNG.

In regulatory filing the petroleum PSU informed that the competent authority has approved the nomination Vikas Singh as Government Nominee Director on the Board of the company.

"'The Board of the company will induct him as Government Nominee Director in due course in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Companies Act. 2013 and the SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015." the company added.
