New Delhi: In a recent tweet on Wednesday, the Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited (MRPL) said that Vivek Chandrakant Tongaonkar took charge as Director (Finance), MRPL on May 2. "He has earlier served as ED-Chief Corporate Finance at ONGC and has handled various Finance portfolios and steered the organisation in its transformation journey," it added.

MRPL is a subsidiary of ONGC, located in Mangalore. It is Category 1 schedule ‘A’ Miniratna, Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas.
