Vivek Varshney (IRSME) assumes additional charge as IRCON CVO

Vivek Varshney (IRSME) has been entrusted with the additional charge of the CVO post at IRCON for a period of six months or until a regular appointment is made

New Delhi: IRCON International Limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Railways, has announced the appointment of Vivek Varshney (IRSME) as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) with effect from July 8. The appointment has been made pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Railways on July 7.

Varshney is currently serving as Executive Director, Vigilance (Mechanical) at the Railway Board. He has been entrusted with the additional charge of the CVO post at IRCON for a period of six months or until a regular appointment is made, whichever is earlier. With this, he becomes part of IRCON’s senior management cadre.

An Indian Railway Service of Mechanical Engineers (IRSME) officer of the 2005 batch, Varshney brings with him a rich professional background, having served in various key roles within the Western Railways and currently at the Railway Board
