New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has recommended Polavarapu Mallikharjuna Prasad for the post of Chairman and Managing Director at Coal India Limited (CIL). Currently, Prasad is serving as CMD at Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Ranchi, Jharkhand.

PESB interviewed applicants from ECL, CMPDIL, NMDC Limited, BSNL, Indian Administrative Service, and Indian Revenue Service (IT) for the position.
