NBCC bags order worth Rs 500 cr from Puducherry govt

New Delhi: State-owned NBCC Limited said in a regulatory filing on Tuesday that it has bagged an order worth Rs 500 crores from the Puducherry government to construct a government medical hospital at Karaikal. As per the filing, the time period for completion of the project has not been decided yet.

Commenting on the nature of the order, it further said, "PMC on deposit work basis." So, the Project Management Consultants (PMC) would be paid as per the work they complete.

Previous orders bagged by NBCC

On March 9, NBCC received an order worth Rs 229.81 crores to construct a new campus of IIFT at Kakinada. On March 6, the company has won three infrastructural projects worth Rs 541.02 crores across diverse sectors including health, industry and commerce and education.
