BEL Recruitment 2020: Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL), a Navaratna Company and India's premier professional electronics company under the Ministry of Defence, has invited job applications for the engagement of Project Engineers (Medical Devices) on a contract basis, for its Export Manufacturing SBU, Bengaluru Complex. Eligible candidates can apply for the job before August 26.

Pay-scale: Rs 35,000/- – Rs 45,000/-
Candidates who will be selected for Project Engineer (Medical Devices) will be deployed for Installation and Commissioning of Ventilators in the various hospitals in the country and they will have to provide warranty & post-warranty support.
Terms of Engagement: Project Engineers will be engaged for an initial period of 2 years, which may be extended for another 2 years (up-to a maximum of 4 years) based on project requirement and individual performance. Candidates will be paid a consolidated remuneration of Rs 35,000/- per month for the 1st year and Rs 40,000/- for 2nd year. In the event of an extension of the contract, the remuneration shall be- Rs. 45,000/- for 3rd year and Rs. 50,000/- for 4th year.
Upper Age Limit: As on August 1, 2020, candidates should be not more than 28 years for General & EWS candidates. The upper age limit will be relaxable for SC, ST candidates by five years and for OBC candidates by three years. For candidates belonging to PWD category having a minimum 40 percent disability or more, will get 10 years' relaxation in addition to the relaxation applicable to the categories mentioned above.
Full time (4 years) B.E/ B.Tech/ B. Sc Engineering course from a reputed institute or university in the Engineering disciplines of Electronics/Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Telecommunication/Telecommunication / Communication/ Mechanical/Electrical/Electrical & Electronics/ Instrumentation /Medical Electronics / Medical Instrumentation. First Class is the indicated qualification for General, OBC and EWS candidates and Pass Class for SC, ST and PWD candidates.
Candidates should possess a minimum of two years' relevant post-qualification experience as mentioned below: Experience in industrial electronics manufacturing. Knowledge of medical equipment is desirable.
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interviews based on the above, in the ratio of 1:5. 15% of marks will be allotted for the interview. Candidates have to compulsorily provide the CGPA conversion to percentage of marks, as per the guidelines provide by the concerned University. Failure to do so will result in disqualification.
Only relevant experience will be considered. The decision of the selection committee, with respect to the relevance of experience, will be final. Work experience indicated without supporting documents, will not be considered.
Intimation w.r.t. conduct of video-based interviews will be sent through email. Candidates are required to comply with the instructions indicated therein.
